We Love Snow!!!

I have been telling Jay for a while now that I wanted one "good snow" before it started getting warmer. I had about given up hope until yesterday when my wish was fulfilled by more snow than I ever thought we would get this time of year! I absolutely love snow! I love the feel of it, the smell of it, I love watching it fall! It truly makes me happy! The boys of course were very excited and could not wait to get out in it and "make snow angels". Here are some pictures from our snow adventure!

I had to get a picture of the house before I would let the boy's mess up the snow. I love it when the snow is uninterrupted by footprints. I love it when there is no grass poking through and it just looks clean and white and perfect. That is my definition of "a good snow". I just hope that the snow didn't kill my tulips that have already started coming up! Notice the boys waiting patiently on the front porch for my cue that they can go and play.

Logan did not know what to think of the snow. Yesterday, when it was coming down pretty good he kept looking out the window and saying"uh-oh" like something was wrong. It was pretty funny. He did not like walking in it at all but he did pretty well if he was being held. He did NOT like having snowballs thrown at him at all either!

My Snow Angels!!
So we are going to enjoy the snow while it lasts because I know it will be gone all too soon. I guess now I will be ready to move on to warmer weather and lazy days spent playing outside. It was the perfect end to winter! I can't wait to see what the spring has in store for us!

I am the same way about grass poking out of the snow. I hate when it starts to melt b/c it looks soo ugly! Great pics!

Great pictures! We didn't get near as much down here as you guys did up there - not really even enough to make snow angels. So, Callie is looking at Logan's pictures with a little bit of envy, I think. :-)
