First Day of Kindergarten

Today was Brady's first day of Kindergarten! I started my day with a prayer asking God to give me strength to make it through the next few hours. My goal was not to cry in front of Brady! I knew that if he did okay them I would too so I asked God for strength and courage for Brady too! My prayers were definitely answered. Brady did great! I could not be more proud of him! He went in with no problems and was excited to start his new adventure! How can he be a kindergartener already? It does not seem possible but here we are. I held up pretty well and managed not to tear up until we left Brady's classroom. I did fine until we got in the car and Collin said, "I am going to miss Brady today!" and then the tears started. "Me too!" was all I could say.

Brady before school! He was really excited about his new backpack!

Outside of the school.
Inside his classroom!

Brady had a great day! He really seemed to enjoy it and even wanted to come home and play school! I could not be happier! After we picked him up Jay and I were asking him about what all he did at school. Jay asked him if his teacher was nice and he said, "Yes, and she looks pretty too!" We laughed so hard over that. We also asked him if he wanted to go back again and he said "Yes!" so we are thrilled! Another bittersweet day gone by!

I am glad he had a great day. I peeked in on him and waved; he seemed to be doing well. I looked for you. Dylan said that he saw him at school and that he seemed "normal". Glad you survived!

Cutest.Thing.Ever. How funny that he commented on the pretty teacher? Could we be about to experience his first crush???

Yea! I am so glad he had a good day. I so wish I could have Brady in my class one day. He's hilarious. I knew he'd love school.

Oh no you did'nt just slam my Hee-Haw t-shirt. I'll have you know that with the exception of maybe Miami Vice, Hee-Haw might be the greatest show EVER!!!
